Red Haven is the peach by which all others are judged. It is heavy-bearing, cold hardy, and it resists leaf spot. Fruit is "freestone", meaning the flesh comes away cleanly from the pith. This luscious fruit is spectacular for both fresh eating and canning. Fruit matures in August.
Tree will grow to about 12 ft. high and wide. Plant in full sun for best fruiting. Perfectly adapted for growing in our area. Quite hardy. Zone 5
Red Haven peach is self-pollinating and does not need another peach tree nearby for good fruit production and heavy yields. One will do quite nicely if you have a small garden.
