Cold-hardy, Prunus cerasus 'Meteor' is a dwarf cherry tree of rounded habit with upright, spreading branches. In late spring, it boasts an abundance of white flowers in clusters along the branches. They are followed by a heavy crop of large, bright red fruits of excellent quality in early-mid summer.

Large, bright red fruit excellent for pies and jams. Tart flavour lends itself well to cooking, canning and baking. Self-pollinating.

Excellent pollinator for other cherries , including sweet varieties. Grows 8 - 10 ft. high and wide.
