Produces showy, 3" diameter fruit with an orange-red blush. This 'freestone' fruit is somewhat resistant to canker and bacterial spot. Coral Star's flesh is firm and sweet and has ample juice to offer. Great for eating fresh, canning and freezing.
Harvest is generally ready in late August - early September. This is a self-pollinating variety, but will produce larger yields if grown near a peach of a different variety.
Tree will mature at about 12 ft. high and wide.
Extremely hardy - Zone 5
