After Care
A root system can sufficate from over watering, but far more
often, missing just one essential watering WILL kill the plant.
From the
time a plant leaves the nursery a moist root system is critical
to its survival.
Water
or wet the root system upon arrival to the planting location.
Creating
a "well" around the plant with soil will allow
water to pool, ensuring ample moisture will penetrate the
root zone.
Water
as often as it takes to maintain moist soil but skip a watering
if soil is already wet.
Transplant
fertilizer should also be used.
Mulching
will preserve soil moisture. |
