Perennials

Martin started growing perennials beside the retail greenhouse in rows back 25 years ago. When a customer would want a clump of shasta daisy, rudbeckia or dianthus they were guaranteed a good deal as when we dug the plant the rootball required an empty 2 cubic ft. peatmoss bag to contain it (as we had lots of these lying around). His charge on these plants were around the $1.79 mark at the time.

As in anything when something gains popularity on the market...What happens? Yup the price goes up and the size goes down.
